(Tangent, OR)  Justin Burns leads the Professional Forage Program for Barenbrug USA. As Sales Manager for the last 3 years, Burns has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to Barenbrug.

 

With an upbringing and background in agriculture Burns decided to pursue an education in Agronomy. In 2000, he received his B.S. in Agronomy from Missouri State University and began his career in the seed industry. His career in the industry has ranged from a variety of jobs and eventually landed him in the sales sector of the business. Beginning as a Territory Manager within distribution of Lawn and Garden Products, Burns moved to sales of Forage and Wildlife Products and then on to Technical and Sales support to the distribution sales staff as a Forage Specialist. Before moving to Barenbrug, Burns managed a distribution sales force in the Midwest and Southwest regions of the United States.

 

Burns thoroughly enjoys his position as Sales Manager and when asked about his career with Barenbrug USA, Burns comments: “Working for a company like Barenbrug is easy, it is a business built on work ethic and integrity. The company has a reputation built over 110 years of being a family owned company that is providing farm tested, and pasture proven products.”

 

Burns was born and raised in Southwest Missouri in the small town of Stockton and still resides there today. Currently living on his family farm with his wife and two children, Burns operates a small Angus cow-calf herd and several horses. Burns hobbies include hunting and fishing as well as Team Roping and Ranch Rodeos. His weekends are often filled with Rodeo activities and cookouts throughout the year with family and friends.
