Customer Pickup & Late Pickup Policy

 

Effective as of May 1, 2025, Barenbrug USA will implement the following new policy regarding Customer CPU shipments.

  1. Pickup Deadline:
    • Customer must pick up their orders within 10 business days from the date they are notified by their Territory Manager that their shipment is ready.
  2. Storage Fees:
    • If the order is not picked up within the 10-business-day window, a storage fee will be assessed.
    • Price breakdown:
      • 42,000 lbs. - $250.00 per day
      • 15,000 lbs. to 41,999 lbs. - $200.00 per day
      • 14,999 lbs. and under - $175.00 per day
    • Storage fees will continue to accrue until the order is picked up or alternative arrangements are made.
  3. Shipping Assistance Option:
    • If customer is unable to arrange shipment within the 10-business-day period, Barenbrug USA can coordinate transportation at an additional cost.
    • Customer must request from their Territory Manager this service during the 10-business-day period to avoid additional storage fees.
    • Shipping fees will be determined based on distance, freight rates, and order size.
  4. Special Arrangements:
    • If customer anticipates a delay in pickup, they must contact their territory sales manager before the deadline to discuss possible accommodations.
