You'll start noticing a new look to Barenbrug product names on bags, tech sheets, and online. The seed inside hasn't changed. Here's what's different, and why.
At Barenbrug, we're making it easier to identify our professional turf and forage products with an updated product naming system.
While some product names will look different, the products themselves are not changing. You'll continue to receive the same premium seed, proven genetics, proprietary technologies, and trusted performance you've always relied on.
What's Changing?
Going forward, Barenbrug product names will follow a new format that clearly identifies the product first, followed by the technologies that power it.
New Naming Format: Product Name | Seed Technology | Seed Enhancement Technology
For example:
The vertical bar ( | ) simply means the product is powered by Barenbrug's proprietary technologies.
What's Staying the Same?
Although the names are being updated, everything else remains the same:
- The same premium seed genetics
- The same product formulations
- The same agronomic performance
- The same trusted technologies, including RTF®, HGT®, RPR®, Yellow Jacket®, and Nature Jacket®
Only the way the products are presented is changing.
When Will You See the New Names?
You'll begin seeing the updated names starting around August 1, 2026.
During the transition period, which runs through approximately December 1, 2026, you may see both the previous and updated product names on:
- Product bags
- Technical sheets
- Product literature
- Our website
- Order confirmations and invoices
This is a normal part of the transition as existing packaging and materials are updated.
