Mojo™ now includes Impact, a later-maturing forage crabgrass cultivar developed by the Noble Research Institute. Impact provides:

  • High yields with improved nutritive value.
  • Excellent reseeding ability for continued productivity.
  • Matures approximately 14 days later than Red River for extended grazing.

Easy to Establish. Simple to Manage.

Spring Planting

  • Prepare a firm seedbed.
  • Plant when soil temperatures reach 50°F.
  • Seed shallow using a drill or small-seed box.
  • Apply 50-100 lb N/acre once stolons begin forming.
  • Begin grazing when plants reach 6-8 inches.

Fall Planting with Small Grains

  • Establish rye, wheat, or triticale in the fall.
  • Broadcast 5-7 lb/acre of Mojo™ from March through May.
  • Graze small grains before crabgrass establishment.
  • Apply 50-100 lb N/acre.
  • Begin rotational grazing at 6-8 inches.
  • Fertilize as needed based on rainfall.
